The gear has 'blendshapes' to make it fit the avatars various shapes for that perfect fit. Harness has the option to hide thigh (as well as waist) straps/belts. The bridle can have its jaw chain hidden and the blinkers can be splayed/narrowed or hidden as well.

Some mesh modification skill may be required by the end-user to modify the original avatar; most notably separating the arms and legs into their own meshes, or some other method to hide/remove them while the hooved sleeves are on.

The harness has added bones to the avatars own Armature, notably some rings that can be made dynamic. So when combining/appending the harness, in this case the avatar mesh is to be assigned to the Armature of this harness this way around instead. The Ostrich Feather plume is on its own armature and thus detached from the main avatar. Up to the end-user to parent it to the Head bone on the main Armature
